In this project I used the Studio Habit Of Mind “I take risks”
I’m not really sure what this project is. I just started taking “Art Start” papers and was doing whatever to them. I painted some with acrylic paints, I drew on some with paint markers, I drew random scribbles with color pastels, I glued down some googly eyes, I played around with ink, etc. I’m really happy with the outcome, and I'm happy that I took risks to create a new piece of art.
Process:
1st I started with a blank piece of white paper.
2nd I started to draw and do whatever on the “Art Start” papers and I glued them onto the blank piece of white paper.
3rd I cropped the paper so that the edges look smoother and nicer.
4th I mounted my creation for display.
The "Element of Art" I think I used the most is texture. The paint is rough since I used a toilet paper tube to make the little rings, the googly eyes "Pop" out since they are 3D objects, the paint marker lines are really smooth, the oil pastels feel "oily/waxy," etc.
